I know days and days it's been.  Well last weekend we got a 1/2  a peck of Granny Smith Apples.  I needed 6 apples for my pie.  Do you have any idea how many apples are in a 1/2 a peck?  I don't either because I haven't bothered to count; but still, I have a lotta frickin apples.  Gonna try this I think.  Let me know if you try it.
