Traditional Pizza Dough

 Ingredients:

  • 2-1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 (1/4 oz? packet of active yeast
  • 1 cup very warm water
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil


Place flour, salt and yeast in food processor.  Process for 3-5 seconds to mix well.  In a small bowl combine water, sugar and oil.  Run processor and slowly pour mixture into dry ingredients.  Mix until soft dough ball forms.  Process for 20-25 seconds to knead.  Place in bowl, cover with cooking spray/oil, cover and let rise for 35-40 minutes.  Punch dough down.  cover and let sit for 10 minutes.  Use immediately or place in resealable storage bag.  Keeps up to 2 days before using.  Can be frozen and thawed for reuse.
