Pasta "Fazool" Fagioli

There are many variations of this Italian classic.  I make mine like my mother and grandmother did ... kinda.

Ingredients:

1 box of ditalini pasta
3 cloves of garlic sliced.
1 stick of butter
1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 cans of Bush's Southern Style White Beans
1 bunch of scallions

Directions:  Make ditalini pasta according to directions.  Melt 1 stick of butter, add sliced garlic and olive oil.  Cook until edges start to brown and then take off heat.  Garlic will brown as it sits while pasta is cooking.  Mix together pasta, 2 cans of beans and garlic.  Snip scallions and mix into pasta. 
Season to taste (I add garlic powder, coarse ground salt and pepper). 

Serve with Parmesan cheese and crunch garlic bread and/or salad.
